Ingredients

  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 8 ounces dry penne pasta, uncooked
  • 1 can (24 oz each) Hunt's® Traditional Pasta Sauce, divided
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided (2 cups = 8 oz)
  • 8 frozen Banquet® Chicken Breast Strips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 8x8-inch baking dish with cooking spray; set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt. Drain and return pasta to saucepan.
  2. Set aside 1/2 cup pasta sauce. Add remaining sauce and 1 cup cheese to cooked pasta. Stir to combine; place mixture in prepared dish.
  3. Arrange frozen chicken strips on pasta mixture; top with reserved sauce and remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until cheese melts and chicken is hot.

Loved it! The only problem the first time I made it the Chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. But it is delicious and easy to make.

Best meal ever. Add extra mozzarella cheese on top so that all the chicken is covered, add pasta sauce on top of that so the cheese does not over cook. last but not least I added jalapeno peppers to the top right before I baked it. Yummy
