I thought this sauce was pretty good, but I cooked it a little to long. I will try better next time

This has been my go to quick and easy sauce for years. Everytime I make it, my family eats it up. No better compliment for a cook!

Love this recipe. I didnt put brown sugar because my husband is Italian and he said italians don't like sweet spaghetti sauce, he wanted his sauce just right and tasty. I added a clove of garlic to this recipe and added more Oregano!!!!!! love it!

This is a great base recipe for fantastic spaghetti. I added 2 links of hot Italian sausage (about 8 oz)plus the beef. I substituted a high quality jar of marinara sauce for one of the cans of tomato sauce. I used one tbs of brown sugar. I used fresh basil and parsley from my garden. I added minced garlic to taste and a pinch of red pepper flakes. After cooking, I let everything simmer for about an hour. The results may have been the best spaghetti I've ever enjoyed. I hope you like it.
