  • 8 ounces dry spaghetti, cooked
  • 1/3 cup Kraft® Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 pound ground chuck beef (80% lean), cooked, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz each) OR 1 carton (14.8 oz) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Toss spaghetti with half the Parmesan and egg; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate to form crust.
  3. Mix meat and tomato sauce; spoon into crust. Top with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting to serve.

I wouldn't make this recipe for myself, because it has too much sodium.

Great concept beaten egg parmesan cheese cooked pasta makes a great shell have to add you own spices to the sauce like garlic, oregano basil salt & pepper to taste I have made a similar recipe called pizza bake using pepperoni Cooked Italian sausage pizza sauce (or make your own as above ) mozzarella cheese can use olives onions mushrooms anything you like and it was delicious!

OK - have not made this yet as I have a question....does the noodle "crust" get hard? Especially the portion a the top that is not covered by sauce. Sorry to only give it a 3 star rate but it wouldn't let me comment w/o a rating...

Looks great....BUT half the fat is saturated and over 900 milgms of salt plus 38 grams of carbs (and not the best kind of carbs, either) ---- per serving! Yipes
