Ingredients
- PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1 pound ground sirloin beef (90% lean)
- 2 cans (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce, divided
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup dry unseasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

Serving Size: 6 servings (1 meatloaf each)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line shallow baking pan with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray.
- Mix meat, 1 can of the tomato sauce, the egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper until well blended. Shape into 6 mini loaves; place in prepared pan. Combine sugar and the remaining 1 can tomato sauce; pour evenly over tops of meat loaves.
- Bake 25 minutes, or until centers of meat loaves are no longer pink (160°F). Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Adding the tomato sauce to the meat not only adds needed moisture, but also a slightly tangy flavor. It makes the meatloaves taste almost like meatballs. And, if you sprinkle some parmesian or romano cheese in top, it's like eating a meatball sandwich without the bread - very delicious.
