Cook's Tip
Cooking Know-How: The secret to this recipe is to cook over high heat - and stir frequently - to help cook off the moisture from the vegetables. This will develop a caramelized flavor for a richer taste. How to Toast Almonds: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place almonds on baking sheet; bake 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Almonds can be toasted and stored for future use. Cool toasted almonds completely; place in resealable freezer-style plastic bag. Store in the freezer up to 6 months until ready to use.
